All creation begins with desire.
To become conscious creators it helps to understand the language of desire. Being with the word 'Desire' becomes the first step to diving in to the creation process, your unique style of creation. What do you think and feel when you listen to or read the word 'Desire'?
At the very beginning of my journey with desire I felt conflicted with the word. I could hear thoughts like 'desire is bad', 'desires give you pain', 'you are being selfish', 'who are you to desire for something!'. All the programming that was received around this word came up again and again. It took me some time to find my inner voice and hold on to that expression of myself.
Why is it important to explore the word?
Desire is the fuel that allows you to create your life. I believe that words have a lot of influence over our minds. To ignite the ability of effortless creation it is necessary to be with the word and all the mental + emotional associations that have been created around it. This is best done in a reflective state, especially if you desire to connect to the Soul version of your truth. Desire is feminine and thus has the power to direct your Soul energy and purpose. If you choose to blame, shame, judge or condemn desire then you are by default choosing to dishonor and resist your life force. Every choice made has a consequence and you can change consequences by making effective choices.
How to explore the word?
Say the word and then be quiet...wait for things to rise in your mind. Notice how the associations relate to each other and if any of them trigger you. When you feel that the silence has come back ask yourself 'How can I feel my truth of the word desire?' or 'What do I feel when I hear the word desire?'. Listen for any answer that may come up. You know the answer is your Soul truth when you feel radiant, expansive, joy and freedom within you.
